1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RemotePC Android application, Windows listener software, and the remotepc.tech website (collectively, the “Service”).
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. License & Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use RemotePC for personal or internal use on devices you own or control.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Modify or redistribute the software under the RemotePC name without permission
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Use the Service to access systems without authorization
3. Local-Only Architecture
RemotePC is designed to operate over a local network (LAN). The Service does not provide cloud relays or automatic external access.
Any configuration that exposes your device to the internet (including port forwarding, VPNs, or tunneling) is performed at your own discretion and risk.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your use of the Service. This includes:
- Ensuring you have explicit authorization to access and control any device
- Maintaining the security of your network, router, and connected devices
- Protecting access credentials, IP addresses, and connection details
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
Unauthorized surveillance, monitoring, or access to third-party systems is strictly prohibited.
5. Security Disclaimer
RemotePC is a remote control tool and does not function as a security product. We do not guarantee protection against unauthorized access, malware, or network attacks.
Security depends on your environment, including network configuration, device security, and access controls.
6. Availability & Updates
We may modify, update, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
We are not obligated to provide maintenance, updates, or support, although we may do so voluntarily.
7. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, you must stop using the Service and delete all copies in your possession.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS.
